Working for NYAutoguide has given me a greater appreciation for cars. I visit area dealers on a regular basis and see their current inventory. I used to be content if my vehicle ran well – just get in and drive. Now I’m concerned with style, comfort and fuel efficiency as well.

Crowe3A few years ago my husband, George decided to purchase a 1955 Chevy BelAir “project car” to restore. Talk about a project! He also wanted a custom interior, but we couldn’t afford it by the time we reached that stage – we had spent our money on everything else for the car. He suggested that I learn Crowe1how to do the interior, which I agreed to – only problem was, I couldn’t find anybody to teach me. I basically learned from books and a lot of trial and error. It took 2 years and a lot of blood, sweat and money, but it’s finally done! We now enjoy driving the car and participating in local car shows. Look for us there.
